USA has just announced a new bill to allow providers to block Robocalls. Providers are providing various methods but wondering if there is any current provider in Australia offering the same thing?
I currently use truecaller which is terrible and calls still get through. Unfortunately I am looking at purchasing property recently so the agents have passed on my info to all their mates.

One month me and my missus started to get calls often out of nowhere, mostly of them Robocalls claiming I owe tax to the ATO or some kind of refund from Centrelink.
I used to answer them and waste their time, play around and talk non-sense. Eventually they stopped.
I think if you just have fun with them and annoy them they will remove you from their lists themselves and won't call again.
Crying or trying to force them not to call you again didn't seem to work for me and they will just call you more often.
Just my experience, might be purely coincidental.
The Google Phone app is quite good as it'll go red and say Suspected Spam Caller when these kind of calls come through.
Messing with them is always fun though. I keep getting calls from "Optus" who claim that their 50mb/s 4G is faster than NBN. They get so mad and accuse me of lying when I point out gigabit NBN is a thing you can actually get!
Gigabit NBN is a thing that less than 20% can get.
My shitty FttN can't even get 30mbps.
Jumped to Optus 4G already and will upgrade to 5G as soon as its available.
Something I've used in 3 states already 😉 I previously ran off 250mbps FTTP but have downgraded to 100mbps. Speed is consistent ☺️

iOS 13 has a block unknown callers function. That means if they aren't a contact or they haven't introduced themselves via email or left a voicemail your phone doesn't even ring in the first place. Very effective in weeding out scumbags.
