Looking at gifts for my 11yo nephew and spotted this on sale at the Apple website ($129-$139 on most AU sites).
UPDATE: Frozen 2 kit (more appealing for the the girls) also on sale at same price. It is likely that Frozen apps will work with Star Wars hardware, and vice versa (posted the question on Kano forums)

Star Wars: Kids learn coding and use the sensor to wave their hand and "use the force". As they level up their JavaScript code they get more powers. Games include 100+ star wars characters (baby yoda status unknown)
Reviews I read really positive and suggest it's perfect for age 7+ and absolute beginner coders.

Don't forget shopback and cashrewards both currently have 1.5%, and as it's Christmas every little helps.
Seems like a niche concept(?). Tempting but I'd probably use it once and shelve it.
