Have you tried the following steps from Apple?

You can get it replaced for $109.

  • If you've committed to getting something new, I'd say upgrading to the Airpod Pros are your best bet.

My view of the Airpods have always been that they're convenient, but the audio quality is pretty mediocre for the price. The Airpod Pros, though, fully change that. They have great ANC and audio quality for the price and they actually compete fairly well with the Sony WF-1000XM3's.

At this point, I'd say that the Airpod Pros have completely obsoleted the standard Airpods if you want the Apple experience. If you don't really care about the whole Apple experience, I still think the WF-1000XM3's as the better deal than the Airpod Pros.

  • I follow a few tech reviewers who apparently have huge ears and they could never wear the regular airpods because they'd fall out, but the pros stay in their ears. So, if you can afford the extra cost, I'd say go for it.

    • I think my ear canals are too small for the tips so I would still need wings. I would like getting away with something straight out of the box but I don’t think this will happen anytime soon. I think I will go the new ones for home and get a replacement one for work
