wait for the sales should come down to the normal $149 for colour

    • Is that for the B22 or the E27? I don’t remember seeing the B22 that low before, and I know they have different price points.

        B22 to E27 adapters like $1

        • Yep, but the E27 kit isn’t the same as the B22 kit - it doesn’t include the dimmer switch.

I also understand there’s an issue with home insurance if you use those adapters, although that’s obviously a personal decision.

Yeah I've been tracking the price of this particular kit in b22, and this is the cheapest I've seen (for white ambience). Thanks for the find!

      • B22 is only good if you keeping old light fittings, if you planning to replace light fittings go for E27 and an adapter

While that’s arguably cheaper, it’s not the same product. This is $100 (with ShopBack) for all five products. Even with the deals you mentioned, I don’t think it’s possible to get the same products for cheaper.

      • fair enough.

Here's a product that's not at all the same nor the same quantity for cheaper.

  • I already have the Amazon Echo 2, do I need the hub included with these?

    • The Echo does not have a Zigbee controller that is required to control a Philips Hue system. The Echo Plus has one with limited functionality. An Echo talks to the Hue hub which controls the lights.

      • Awesome, thank you for the explanation.
