Best deal on a IPhone 8 plus or IPhone 7 Plus?
My son wants an IPhone Plus for Christmas and I was hoping there might be some deals coming up, but I have not been able to find any.
I worry about the international and refurbished phones so would prefer to buy new.
Happy to buy on a plan but would need to be on the Telstra network as we can't receive Optus mobile Network where we live.And would not be looking for huge monthly cost.
Currently he has my old IPhone 6S on an $20 Aldi prepaid plan, however the battery life is shocking so needs an upgrade and would prefer the larger screen of the Plus.
Any suggestions?

With a refurb are they genuine Apple and how is battery life - I guess they have been used and then done up - is that right?
Some do get official Apple refurbs, most are done themselves.
Battery is a big issue, some put in new ones, others will state the percentage left in capacity.
They seem a bit expensive compared to a few others I’ve looked at recently, Mobile Federation on eBay, and Phonebot being the other.

I picked up a Grade A iPhone 8 from Phonebot for $479 for my daughter for Christmas. Absolute pristine condition.
I ended up buying a manufacturer refurbished Iphone 8 Plus in excellent as new condition from Luvyourphone on Ebay was $669 but got $50 off with a code. It looks really nice, just like new but came in a white generic box with just a charging cable, no instruction book no plug but I am not too fussed as those wont be needed anyway.
Apparently there will be a bunch of deals released on Christmas Eve on the Telstra website….

Look into a refurb. Kogan have them. As do "Luvyourphone.com.au" which is where I got a refurb S8 for my wife.
