Nikon P300 and Canon S95

Hi

I'm considering the purchase of a camera and have narrowed down my options to the Nikon P300 and Canon S95 but could not decide on which camera to buy.

I'm a casual photographer, takes a camera outdoors and prefer image quality over other features in a camera.

Ideas on which camera to choose and where to purchase it at the cheap is most appreciated.
