So I bought some UltraBoosts during the Black Friday sale from adidas.com.au. It was a good deal paid $132 instead of $260. They arrived, and unfortunately had a fairly sizeable snag/loop of the primeknit sticking out, it looked like someone had been running in them and gotten caught on a stick etc. One of the shoes was also out of shape, one looked normal and one was like a curled banana.
After viewing my pictures they immediately said it was a manufacturing error in both areas of concern, agreed to refund. Probably the only time I would have preferred an exchange as the price had gone up to $180, it was still the cheapest I could find that colourway and size, so reordered the exact same pair.
They arrived today, and again the primeknit looked like it had caught a snag, in not just one spot but in 3 locations.
Adidas were friendly and apologetic and seemed amazed it had happened again.
Now this is the only time I've ever shopped with them, to me, given both pairs were on sale, and both arrived looking in terrible shape, I'd have to seriously question if they're not sending out factory 2nds?
Anyone else had a bad experience with shoes bought on sale from Adidas?
I have bought a few different shoes from them in the past, both the Outlet and normal shop.
Had no issues at all and i have purchased pureboosts, football boots (numerous pairs) and slides. Haven't ordered any ultraboosts but have friends who have and i believe they haven't had any issues.
your probs extremely unlucky or they could be having a few issues with their quality control in the warehouse and may have a bad batch.
