From Amazon US? Please think about your environmental impact before having a single box of cereal shipped to you from the United States.

As opposed to all the other items posted from China or the us?

Going to need to be consistent, so I assume you'll post this on every one of those bargains?

    • +3

      Thought about it - Ordered.

I guess until Greta Thunberg delivers it by boat, this is the best option.

    • Just about every product is shipped from another country at some point, mate. Welcome to the world. It's not like a plane is making a special trip just for my cereal, either.

      • Is for my cereal. I'm VIP.

22 grams of carbs/10 grams of sugar per 27 grams!?! What you're eating is 37% sugar.

Just grab this and this instead and make it yourself.
Oh, and almost forgot the all important marshmallows (why put that in a breakfast cereal?)

Try telling your kids the unicorns they see isn't real after loading them up with this lol.

You should probably grab that pitchfork and look closer to home. Most cereals targeted towards children are equal or worse.

      Nutri-grain = 26.7grams/ per 100g
      Sultana Bran 28.9/ per 100g
      Fruit loops 35/per 100g

      • +1

26.7%, 28.9% and 35% respectively. None of which are worse.

Don't even get me started on fruit loops lol. Less sugar yes, but honestly it all tastes the same at that point. Sugary milk.

Probably the only thing worse than this is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

        • +1

You are right, my bad. I really thought you meant out of 100g.

          That is actually really bad..

    • +1

Relax - For most of us i'm sure its more a one off/bit of fun rather than a meal we serve 3 times a day/7 days a week.

      • +1

What? You don't eat sugary cereal for every meal of every day!?

        • +3

          ~increases amazon order quantity frantically~

      • Hmmm 739 grams of fun lol. I think most people interested in the "giant size" will have it more than every once in a while. Says 27 servings.

        • But are you assuming its 1 person going through the whole box, what if its split between 27 people.
But yeah - cant deny there is a ton of bad stuff in there. Once i'm done with this i'll switch to Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

      • Some American kids probably eat this for breakfast each day

    • Alternatively if you’re going to fall for the processed food meme you could eat ice cream for breakfast.

    • tried it for the first time recently and definitely felt like eating milk with sugar, it was kinda gross

      • You just need to eat more and go through that barrier

  • Cool, time to catch me a leprechaun!

  • Mmmmmmm corn syrup, corn starch and produced with genetic engineering. Just what I need to kick start the day.

    • +3

Just like Nonna used to make!

It's gluten free so it must be good for you.
