What Do AliExpress 'Select' Coupons Do?

I have $300 worth of 'select' coupons in my AliExpress account and I don't know how to use it. I can't apply it to any purchases at all.

How do I use them?!

Select coupons only work for specific stores and will take $X off $X. In most cases they have a high minimum spend so they're only good for big spends.

In the 11/11 sale I combined an AliExpress coupon, store coupon, select coupon and cashback together to get a high value product quite cheap. I've also shared deals from AliExpress stores (FIVI for example) who frequently run them with store coupons.

i think they are intentionally confusing, deceptive and largely useless. i don't bother most of the time
