Recently ordered New Balance and received an email after 4 days advising one of the items out of stock.
When I called them to place a replacement order. They flatly refused to take a replacement order and honour the discounts.

Got exactly the same email… WTF
I ordered on the 7th and haven't received any sort of order confirmation or invoice.. the money's gone from PayPal..
I've left two emails (one on the 9th) and had no response.. and calling them ends up going to voicemail everytime.
Worst customer service I've seen in a long time..

Re: customer service, I've easily returned several items over the past two years and had no problems with refunds. Have also had discount honoured on replacement when notified an item was out of stock. That was a while ago so maybe policy has changed.
I have had difficulty getting through to them on the phone sometimes. Once spent a whole afternoon ringing on and off without anyone picking up which was incredibly frustrating.
I have no association with NB. Just wanted to share another perspective on the shipping and customer service experience. Clearly, it seems variable to say the least! :)
