  • Says $24.. is it free delivery?

  • Getting a minimum $30 to check out. No shipping out of Vic. Annoying.

Edit. Yes I'm in Vic but wanted to have delivered to NSW for a gift

You wouldn't want chocolate being shipped tomorrow anyway.

    • Lindt wouldNot survive being posted to Qld. Melt.

    $55/kg for chocolate is not a bargain…

    • +4

I think the bear's necklace is from Tiffany and Co

      • +3

        That might explain the price…

Marketing dude from goofy foods has failed to explain why this is a bargain…

        • Because it used to be $22.01

  • You should mention [VIC] + also mention the name of the store. Please note these things for next time as this is the 2nd time this has been mentioned.

The same chocolate bear (with an identical picture) is available from Woolies for $5 for 100g

Or you can get a 404g Gala Box for $15 also from Woolies

I can't find anywhere else that sells a 438g Lindt Bear, not even on the Lindt website.

    • Yes but GoofyFooleryFoods will argue, as they have in the past, that this post includes delivery and that you can't compare apples to oranges etc etc etc

We are talking about sending chocolate in the post during an Australia summer which does come with a fair amount of risk of spoilage.

        • +1

Correction: Grooferly Foods hand delivers these products to your door on the same day of purchase if purchased before (3pm) Or the following day for orders placed before (3pm) we don’t use any postal services whatsoever. However, we restrict delivery to Melbourne

          • @Grooferly Foods: Fair enough. It's not very clear that is what is happening.

          • @Grooferly Foods: Give us an idea of normal cost from competitor and yoirself so we can decide if this is a bargain.

Otherwise people are going to think this is spam

The price on the website says $24, but this post says $22. Also there is a minimum spend of $30, meaning it's impossible to claim this deal.

    • Agreed. Not accurate at all.

  • $22 for a box of chocolate sauce and gold foil after it arrives in the mail during the Australian summer? No. Thanks though.

    • We do not send food in the mail, it is delivered to the door on the day of purchase by our team.

      • If you can edit your post I think that is valuable information to put in the description of your post as that is a service that might make people more inclined to buy the chocolate

        • Thank you, we will attempt to adjust this.

  • The description is inaccurate. you don't just get one chocolate teddy it appears. It is actually a pack like this one. https://www.toydeals.com.au/lindt-teddy-friends-436g-assorte…. Otherwise why call it bear and "friends" if it is just a bear pictured. You make it look like a 438g teddy.

No that is not the same item on our shelf. It is a single item, a Lindt Teddy (436g)

      • +1

then why write 438g in the description and say the price is $22 when it is $24 on your website

        • That was merely a typographical error of which we apologise for and request OzBargin to edit the title for us to include the correct pricing information. And the quantity is (438g)

  • Just realised all ther chocolate is the same as sold in Costco but Costco is 1/2 these prices
608g Lindt bags are $12 and 700g squares Lindt $17 in Costco today

@Mods Surely this kind of spam comment shouldn't be allowed
