@Jonty766: It was a good discussion though, for people who didn't know and for people who wondered why there is a mAh capacity rating on rechargeables but not on normal batteries.
Can you use these instead of AA?
AA batteries are about 50mm x 14mm. C Batteries are around 50mm x 26mm.
So yes, with a bit of work on the hacksaw you'll be good!
