What makes sense to buy from Amazon Au when you have prime membership in terms of foods, pantry, household staples, cleaning supplies, health care products and so on? Could be bulk buying as well as individual products, especially compared to Colesworth?

Only buy what you actually need, and when on special / sale.
Amazon has a lot of inefficiencies in their business model, from their renown over-packaging, courier delivery, non-return of packaging, etc.

Very true. I forgot this.
We just buy stuff that we need. I wouldn’t use it for household items as the packaging is a tad OTT. We, mostly, buy electrical stuff etc. it is nice to see something and not worry about the shipping costs. We also watch some of the Prime shows.
Toilet paper, paper towel, double edge razor blades from Amazon US (includes free postage if you're a Prime AU subscriber), dog food.
I also watch A LOT more of Amazon Prime Streaming Service on my TV, has some good stuff that Netflix doesn't like South Park, which is all included in the prime membership as well (I do feel this is worth the $39/year on its own)

I regularly buy nappies, toilet paper, tissues and paper towel when amazon has them on special. CHeaper than supermarkets especially with Cashrewards.
