The 2016 Shiraz displays a bouquet of black cherry, mulberry and cranberry, enhanced by hints of spice and subtle cedary oak, with the palate showcasing satsuma plum, red currant and spicy raspberry, complemented by blackberry and vanillin notes. A rich firmly structured wine with fruit, oak and tannin in harmony.
The cool summer and dry to moderate autumn provided optimum flavour.
We dedicate the 1892 collection in honour and respect for the Pirramimma Clydesdales whom tirelessly toiled our land from 1892 to 1952, whom now rest in peace in our War Horse vineyard.
Drink now or until 2026 under the right cellaring conditions.
