Hi Guys… anyone knows about this issue?
I was using ALDImobile Pay As You Go (PAYG) then I changed to $99 Super Value Pack last year.
But for making an international call I added some credit as PAYG but I don't need to make international anymore.
Anyway, I have $0.50 credit on PAYG expired 8th of Dec and $99 Super Value Pack expired on the 7th of Dec.
Today, I got the email saying.
============================================================
We wanted to let you know that Your ALDImobile Pay As You Go (PAYG) credit on Service Number 043X XXX XXXX is due to expire in 3 days and any PAYG credit you have will be forfeited.
What does this mean?
All ALDImobile services have a PAYG base plan. When you activated your ALDImobile SIM card, you were given a PAYG base plan with 365 days expiry. Even if you have been adding Value Packs to your service, you still need to ensure that you extend your PAYG base plan to keep your service active.
What you need to do
We recommend that you recharge your service with a PAYG plan before your service expires, this will extend your base plan for another 365 days. You can recharge via our website or mobile app.
If you take no action, once your PAYG credit expires you will not be able to add a Value Pack to your service unless you add PAYG credit first.
Once you have recharged with PAYG credit, you can convert this credit in to a Value Pack."

I'm thinking of recharge $99 Super Value Pack but it sounds like I have to recharge PAYG as well.
Does anyone know if I recharge only $99 Super Value Pack should be fine to use mobile service?
I recharged the 99$ pack a week ago, PAYG expiry got extended by another year.
But you don't need PAYG credit to use the service anyway, I started with value pack only, added PAYG only because I thought I might need it for an overseas trip.
