Transferring NZL Dollars to Australia

I primarily work in Australia as a contractor.
However, I'm working in NZL for 3 months, and would like to know what the best way of transferring money (approx 30K) back to AUS would be?
I have a Kiwibank account here for my wages and several Aus bank accounts.
Also, any tips on tax claims/exemptions?

    Cash or just do an international transfer to an Australian Bank via the swift code.

    I usually just give my mate NZD and he gives me AUD in Australia or vice versa.

    I know ANZ in Australia waive the fee for existing customers to exchange currency back to AUD

    I've heard about resolut & transferwise as the new players in doing this. I used to use BTC as that is truly international but takes some skill and knowing how to work a digital currency. In the past I've used World First also to move money around. I've also heard about Paypal being used although never used. The ANZ route sounds pretty painless, although they might be screwy with the rate? Good luck.
