    According to the reviews, the second camera comes with a short cable to mount it on the front windshield pointing inside the cabin.

      Which is also why it has IR. If you want a front and rear camera then get the non-IR one which comes with a long cable for the second camera.

    I bought the IR version for a friend's car and it works fine as a rear dash cam. I installed it on their rear windscreen. It came with a short and 6m cable to connect both cameras up.
