    I haven't tried this personally, but I've been told that you can't plug it directly into the PC itself. There is a way to use it on the PC whilst it's plugged into your controller but as a standalone mic, unfortunately not. Again this isn't something I've tested myself though so don't treat my reply as gospel :p

  Apparently their "official" wifi adapter is not actually genuine M$…dunno if this is the case with this?

  I assume that'd mean they just remove it from the bulky packaging the mic usually comes in and instead put it in an alternate form of packaging to send out. They usually send their games in dvd sized envelopes so they'd be trying to fit it into something of a similar size I'd say.

  I haven't heard about the wifi adapters so can't comment on that, but I've owned a wired mic before and it looks exactly like the pictured one does so I'd imagine it would be official.

    Wait what?! OzGS don't usually remove the disc from a game and put it in dvd sized envelopes, well not in my case anyway ( bought ~5 games from them in the last 6months)

  By DVD sized I meant the size of a DVD/Game cover, not the actual disc :p
