    Ive seen in forums on here that this particular type isnt good for cameras and surveillance, because it isn't "durable" enough. I think the extreme was recommended, or one of the samsung ones. You might want to do further research before buy. Im looking for one for home surveillance too.

        I checked back at where I bought the dashcam: https://www.dx.com/p/xiaomi-70mai-pro-smart-car-dvr-english-… and their default one included is the Sandisk Ultra, but I do think it's worth heeding your warning.

        @Embaloo: I'm pretty clueless on the subject, just saw a few comments from people who said the extreme wasnt good enough, but can't seem to find them anymore (too many sd card deal posts).

Don't cheap out on the MicroSD for a dashcam. Look for one rated for endurance or dashcams as others mentioned.
