Deal/Forum posting threshold reached

Hi mods. Looks like you've put in flood protection, but unfortunately for me it makes posting the weekly specials very difficult.

I've posted the first special, then tried posting the second and had to wait 5 minutes. Then after posting the second special I wanted to edit the first, and was greeted with this message:

Deal/Forum posting threshold reached. Maximum 2 per hour.

Even though I wasn't "posting" and only trying to edit the post I just submitted.

Is there any way you can exclude long time bargain posters from these restrictions, or at least edit them so they're a little more flexible?

And to add insult to injury, I've had to wait 2 hours before I could post this.

    Throttling is still in place, however editing should not trigger it now. Currently for existing users:

    • 1/5 minutes, 2/1 hour, 4/6 hours and 10/24 hours.
