Vypr VPN 80% off Regular Price - $2.50 US/Month (~ $3.70 AU) Charged $60 US (~ $88.69 AU) Once Every 2 Years @ Golden Frog

There are a lot of cheaper VPNs out there, but this VPN is a top performer in terms of speed, privacy, and getting around 'geoblocks' so you can access/watch practically every overseas service.

One of the best features of this VPN is the fact that they own and operate all their software AND hardware (with control over access to all their physical assets).

This makes it unique among other VPNs, who often rent/lease overseas bandwidth on a foreign server operated by a third party).

I have used quite a few paid and free/trial VPNs over the last few years, but this VPN outperforms (or at least matches) any other VPN I've tried.

I've used Vypr VPN for several years (I usually have two VPNs at a time, so I had time to compare them), and this is the cheapest subscription I have ever seen for thisVPN.

Vypr VPN 80% off Regular Price ~ $3.70/Month ($2.50 US/Month) Billed ~ $88.69 ($60 US) Every 2 Years.

With a 30 day money back guarantee.

I'm not sure the price quoted is in US dollars, I just assumed it was.

Ps. while I was searching for a free trial I came across this page, which provides a bit more information about Vypr VPN https://www.vyprvpn.com/offer/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMInOmWp5aU5gI…

I have a 'free' Vypr VPN account which shows I can use 1 Gig of data, so obviously it must have been a free trial at some stage (I forgot I even had it, it's been so long).

But I couldn't find a free trial now (except for the 30 day money back guarantee).

Pos. even though it shows an 18 hour timer, I read on a VPN review site that the offer expires on the 5th of December, so I'm not exactly sure when the offer expires.

  • Well their chat-bot is totally useless

    • Sorry to hear it, but to be fair, most of these chat bots are useless.

Nothing against you :) Just tried to asked it some simple questions and it went in circles.

        • No, I understand mate :) they can be very annoying.

It should give you the option to chat to a person after you ask it a question, at least, it did for me when I cancelled my 30 day trial the other night.

      • Oh ok, thanks for that, it's good to know.

Did you have any problems getting your money back?

        • +1

Nope. Originally I signed up assuming I was getting a 3 day free trial, but was charged $80 USD for a year. I contacted them, and they informed me they no longer do the 3 day free trial, even though the page was still up. I’m not sure if they’ve taken it down yet.

Anyway, I just hopped on chat, said I’d like to cancel and would like a refund. They asked me if it was due to anything in particular/if they could resolve any issues I was having, and I told them I was just trying it out. They confirmed, and I received an email from PayPal notifying me of the refund within a few hours :)

@Boward Woward: Oh that's good to know.

Getting a refund from some other VPNs can be a real pain.

    • Just an FYI,

I got the 2 year deal, but I had questions to ask before I bought it, so I spent a bit of time with the bot, trying to get their human chat support.

They are supposed to have 24/7 chat and email support, but I couldn't figure out how to get the chat bots to connect me to a human.

It got really frustrating talking with the bot, which talked more or less in circles, repeating the same scripted replies.

So I think I understand your frustration with the bot a lot better now.

Luckily I never had to contact their support in all these years, because this VPN worked pretty much flawlessly (at least it did for me) the whole time I had it.

  • Deadly Cobra VPN.

  • Another VPN "deal"- $440 down to $88! What a bargain….

    • Well, it is for me, but it won't be for everyone.

I was paying $9.95 US/month for at least two years, then $4.95 US in the last two months (it was an offer I got when I cancelled my subscription).

So, at $2.50 US/month it is still a 50% saving, which is a great deal for me (especially since I planned to use it for at least a couple more years anyway).

      • Not doubting the cheaper price, but did they ever actually sell a VPN for $880 bi-annually

        • No of course they didn as far as I know.

But I'm not sure how you got the $440 and $880 amounts.

Vypr has been selling their monthly subscription at $12.95 for ages.

          $12.95 - 80% = $2.59
          $12.95 - 81% = $2.46

So, this is a genuine 80-81% off.

I've never paid $12.95, but I've been paying $9.95 for ages (until I was offered it for half price at $4.95).

A couple of months ago it would have been close to 80% off for me (when I was paying $9.95/month) now it's closer to half price for me (the last one or two months I've been paying $4.95/month).

So, I think 80% off is a realistic discount (for anyone 'foolish' enough to be still paying $12.95/month).
