You need to put the delivered cost in USD and AUD in the title.
At US$169 delivered, most people are going to be happier with a Khadas Tone Board (USD $70-$80 from AliE on sale) and a JDS Labs Atom amp (USD $119 B-stock with full warranty, $129 retail).
For another AUD $30, you get legitimately transparent audio, with enough power for just about every headphone people will be throwing at it.
The price to performance radio is a lot higher than this combo.
The atom seems to be $99usd for the retail version atm and was ~$30usd shipping when I was strongly considering it recently which makes it even more compelling
That's the standard price. They have B-stock (cosmetic defects) for $89 this weekend.
They don't seem to have any B-stock available except the EL DAC for $149.

In that price range? Maybe the Topping DX Pro 3 for a desktop setup, otherwise maybe look at SMSL's lineup for portable gear.
But you're not going to find better quality gear than what I've suggested south of $1500, and you're not going to get screwed if one or the other breaks down.
If the Khadas & Atom suit your setup, they are awesome value.

New Magni 3s (2 models - 3+ & 3 Heresy) just came out, that's why Magni 3 is discounted… at $59, not $49. Can't swallow the shipping fees (USD38).
I have a Modi/Magni 2 stack, is there any reason for upgrading?
It would probably be an incremental upgrade at best, so it's a lot of money for that. I would save up and buy something nicer if you really want to upgrade.
