I have had so many issues with ILVE. Dishwasher broke after 1 year, microwave exploded, and concealed rangehood broke. Warranty claims yes but 3 out of 4 of my ILVE appliances broke down in a year.

I would never get another ILVE in my life. They look great and expensive on outside, but quality on inside is lacking

Sounds like a shit brand lol

It truly is. Imagine the inconvenience not having a working dishwasher for over a month and the warranty guy coming out 6 times and not being able to determine what is wrong with it and ILVE refusing to replace it.

Not being able to cook stuff under rangehood without oil dripping down through the canopy

        • Yeah doesn’t sound good at all

    • Yes truly the Alfa Romeo of the kitchen world. They both are form over function and make better adds than product. OK at these prices though. None of the stove manufacturers make their own burners, elements, etc. They are all common, but pretty interchangeable and easy to repair.

I've had a few Ilve ranges - First one we bought new on clearance went all melty at rear junction box. Sometime later I needed to bypass the failed clock module to keep it running. Next house came with 2nd one - repaired a burner in the ceran top, and replaced a hinge and the oven seal. Sold it out on renovation to replace with a different brand with a gas cooktop. Good unit all up though.

    • I've had Ilve rangehood, electric oven and gas cooktop for over 10 years now, all have been flawless.

  • OP please note: All "up to x% sale" must give an example deal or the post will be removed. I picked a random example for you. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin…

      • Usually mods don't count "products from $y" as an example. Example can be given in the title or in the description.
