Obviously it is in its beta-testing stage.
We should be thankful of the times we attended school.

Teacher: “Students pay better attention during class.”
Student: “When we first wore the headband, it felt like it was controlling us.”

Narrator: “One student says his parents punish him for ‘low-attention’ scores, that kind of data adds a new kind of pressure for students.”

Next step: forcing students to shave their heads to get more accurate EEG readings.

  • More mainstream media trash for people with no standards.

It's worth pointing out that IT in schools has been a collossal waste of money which has achieved nothing. Score didn't improve nor did they decline. The billions of dollars that went to Apple, Google and MS could have been spent on something that actually improved educational outcomes.

I took the video as just informing us of how far China are implementing AI.
If you watched the whole video it goes on to explain how it is one part of the giant network they are implementing, and from what I hear most of it is only being ‘tested’ in certain major capitol cities.

The post was written with tongue-in-cheek.
I think you have reached the conclusion that ‘this’ is being presented as a solution.
