    I think you need 7.2 channels for Atmos. This receiver is 5.1 channels.

      Correct, but some people may not know that and might reasonably expect that a $400+ receiver would have atmos functionality built in.

  How does this compare to my old but reliable Denon AVR-X2000? I don't have any problems with it but it seems a bit outdated now in terms of smart capabilities. Like streaming music from my Android to the receiver. Used to be great with an iPhone and Airplay but with an Android it seems like I need a Chromecast Audio to send music to it.
