so i was buying something from appliance central just now. ebay suggested i can get 10% discount with a code. but at checkout i decided to order with the other account I have. So i logged in the same code is now getting 15% discount reflecting in the final price.
i am happy with the lower price but not sure how ebay discriminates between my accounts. maybe someone else would get 20% off with the same code?
yes. that's it. was on a 1 month trial. ebay doesn't show plus member gets more discount on the item. might be another reason to sign up then.

I've got eBay Plus and noticed items that previously showed a particular code changed to a different code, even though either is applicable.
Eg, a few items that suggested PILGRIM now display the older, lesser-value (for both Plus and non-Plussed) PRINCE200 - yet PILGRIM still works fine on them.
Perhaps their 'smarts' are trying alternative promotions to try and get a sale, but it does indicate eBay doesn't necessarily show the cheapest price you can get. All the more reason to check OzB's eBay deal page for all the current codes.
Bought something from eBay last night, it gave a free shipping using my iPad app but paid shipping when my wife checked her phone app. When she jumped on eBay on my iPad she got the free shipping too.
Seemed like it gave something different for different devices!
Does one account have ebay plus while the other doesn't? The current PILGRIM code gets you 15% off if you have ebay plus and only 10% off if you don't.
