  While not a deal, more of a hack, thought it's worth sharing.
  My wife recently had an issue with her old GHD (out of warranty), spoke with a GHD customer service rep who said they would offer a 50% discount on the new model.
  All that was required was the serial number of the old unit.
  Using this same method, a friend of ours found someone selling a 'broken' GHD on gumtree, asked them for a photo of the serial number and got the new model at 50% off.

  Missus insisted on another GHD after her last one broke (she had been a GHD user for years). Instead I ordered her the best rated one from Amazon US for around $30. She loves it and now says GHDs are wayyyy overpriced.

      That's the one. Been 3 years and it's still going and GHD hasn't been mentioned since. I think she uses an adaptor
