Cheap calls to mobiles in the Philippines

My GF is flying in on Friday morning from the Philippines.

Telstra are charging an arm and a leg to call mobiles there. Her family is with Globe.

The best calling card I can find is this:

As I read it that will cost 5.7c per minute plus 49c flagfall

Can I do better?

Isn't that card only for USA and UK only? You need an Asian calling card if you want to call Phillipines.

That said Lycamobile has pretty cheap rates, get a free sim from the Lycamobile website (or buy from an Asian convenience store)

The current rate is 19¢ per minute to mobile phones with 19c flagfall, 15c SMS, and 8c per minute to landlines.

Check out GoTalk and GTmobile. I'm pretty sure they are cheaper than Lyca.

I just use virgin mobile big cap 29. At 450 credit its 2$ per mim 50c flagfall
