Amazon has matched it!
Wow in 8 mins. Thanks.
Arlo vs Eufy, can anyone summarise which is the better system?
Wyze.
Tell me more.
Edit: Using for outdoor use if that matters
got two for $80 on Amazon. I feed the wire thru the garage door and plug into a power point inside my garage. Cameras are magnetic and stick to the garage lintel.
sometimes a little slow to load, but they do the job.
if I want to part with $500 i might go for a Eufy or maybe throw a couple of hundred at the Reolink Argus 2.
@Rizzler: Unfortunately the cameras will be placed in positions with no easily accessible power.
Also are the Wyze weather proof?
@AlphaSquid1604: i've got mine under eaves, so far so good.
go for the Eufy.
@Rizzler: got a link to the Wyze cams?
I have had both Arlos and Eufy
Eufy for the win for battery alone. I've had mine up over 6 months and battery is still just under half full and over 100 notifications per day. Definitely worth it to not have to get up a ladder constantly.
Then there is anti theft alarm and facial recognition that Arlo lacks.
There are heaps of comparisons online just Google it
No IFTTT on eufy which is a shame. they said they would have it but it's been a while now and no news.
Any offers on the 2 camera bundle?
not sure to go for this or wait for a deal on Arlo Ultra, anyone seen any deals on ultra? I actualy posted a find me a deal a couple of hours ago
Damn and I sold my 1 week old Arlo 3 with 4 cameras and base for $1050
So is this 2 or 4 cameras?
Its the Pro 2.
4 Camera Kit.
It's the Arlo Pro 2 as in version 2 and comes with 4 cameras.
Can someone explain to a complete newby how this actually works.
base station plugs into your router. Uses a proprietary wifi to connect to the cameras. The cameras have have a battery in them for power. Thats the TLDR. Cameras will not and can not connect to an existing wifi network. Centralised location of the Arlo Hub is key.
So with the 7 day free cloud, can we review any time and date within the last 7 days? Is there a catch?
If you’re keen / have friends in the US that could cart it back for you, Amazon US have the 3 camera kit for $460 AUD and the 4 camera for ~$620 AUD.
Amazon, your call?
