Great deal, seems like in store only at the Shepparton (Vic) store, with possible low stock Geelong (Vic) and Modbury (SA).

  • What is the largest backpack I can bring onto a flight?

    • +1

Assuming you mean as carry on. I've found that 35 - 38L seems to be around the max, maybe 40L. But airlines look at the maximum dimensions and weight, not volume.

    • 40L backpack is slightly longer than the maximum length. Airlines are usually not too fussed about soft bags, so I am hoping my 40L backpack will be alright.

  • Why do all the Denali bags have such poor star ratings?

    • I disagree with the ratings. I think they are great! I have multiple bags by Denali and they've never let me down.

  • It's only available online purchase and in Victoria state?

    • I bought one in store in QLD. It really depends on the size you want and the store nearby.

  • Used the 30L or 40L bag on a recent trip to Europe and it was awesome. Could possibly use a bit more space but great for a day bag. Very comfortable on the back and considering hadn’t used a backpack since school some 15 years ago was surprised i didn’t get any back niggles.

  • Grabbed a 60L one. Online NSW delivery worked fine

  • How do these compare with Osprey?

    • I looked it up. Sounds like these are Anaconda's own label and is cheap and nasty but works. I'll stick to Osprey for now.

  • I bought a 70lts one.

I actually took a Denali Peak 45l to South America recently on those Air New Zealand $750 return tickets to Buenos Aires. It went to Sydney, Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Buenos Aires, El Calafate, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Sydney and back to the Sunshine Coast. Mostly checked in, and it didn't skip a beat.

The only thing I didn't like about that model was the fact that it only had top access, so sometimes I had to empty it completely to get something out of it.

Now with the 70l pinnacle it had access from the top, the side and the bottom.

I'm ready for the next round of cheap fares.

    Bing it on Ozbargain.

  • Great deal, just happened upon this in store… the Red&Black is more than twice the price…
