Very good prices but keep in mind the 75t is being released at the moment too.

    • was thinking about that,, any good?

      • They are fine but I wouldn't say good. I have the jaybird vista which like much more. Would recommend them any day over the Jabra. In say all of that, this is a good price.

        • amazon.com is selling at $99usd

Keep in mind the 85t to be released at any moment in the future.

      • that doesn't bother me. I'm waiting for the 95t.

I got the JB catalogue in the post on Monday…not sure it really counts as being "leaked" two days later.

Great earphones but remember the left one doesn’t work as a standalone. It always needs the right earpiece to be operating as well.

  • FYI - For those with access to JB commercial, you can get the new 75T for $250.94

I don't have access to JB commercial but just rang the local store quoted the commercial price and asked if the could match it. Worked flawlessly and he had them ready and waiting behind the counter for me but your millage may vary dependant on who you get on the phone.

      • awesome might give it a crack thanks m8

      • Nice one. Knowledge = power

All good guys, only other advice i'd give is it always pays to be polite and courtesy to retail staff. They spend half their day getting verbal berated by entitled people over transactions they literally had nothing to do with and often have no control over.

They are way more likely to fudge some stuff in the system (as long as it's technically over cost) if you treat them like the generally friendly and fairly criminally underpaid human beings they are.

        Hi Jim,
Would be much appreciated if you could send a copy of 75t invoice to me at [email protected]
I bought a 65T recently, just saw the post and wanted to upgrade.

        Cheers,

      • You are kidding right? It's still a pre-order. That is, not even out yet in Australia.

    • How the hell do you get commercial man? My job doesn't have partnership.

    • It Shows 278.41 in my friend's Account.

      • $264.67 for me.

FYI - For those with access to Jabra EPP, you can get the 65T for under $150 and the active 65T for ~$165

tried these on and had a listen at bing lee, didnt feel comfortable really bulky on the ear.. i read the reviews everyone says jabra way to go

I bought the jbl one recently and it is wit good. I’m still trying to find the right pieces for my ears though. The medium one fires really tingly but guarantee won’t fall out. Sound quality can be quite good depends how do you put it in. Everyone says bass is good but definitely nothing compares to the over the ear or wired ones.

These fit great, sound pretty decent and importantly have good device to device hopping unlike Sonys. Easy to jump from phone to PC seamlessly with no need to disconnect from the first device, just need to pause whatever is playing on device A.

Unfortunately the hook/clip that closes the case is a seriously thin / flimsy piece of plastic. Mine snapped off after about 6-9 months and I use a rubber band to keep mine closed now. They've rectified this with the 75t with the lid being magnitised. It's also smaller + has a longer battery life so I would suggest the new version.

I tried the Sony version with noise cancelling and while the noise cancelling is noticeable (although the effect on the full sized is considerably stronger), the way they fit is far too loose and I found mine falling out. Jabras sit much more flush while also not going deep like some IEMs do, it works well for taking them in/out.

    • cheers mate, appreciate it

  • Are the 75t on sale?

Best I could get today was $10 off.

  • Officeworks should price beat this. I did it earlier this year for the Jabra Elite 65T against Catch to bring it down to ~$200.

$170 would be a great price for it.

Edit: looks like they stock Active too which would bring it down to $189.

Been using 65t Elite for close to a year.

Received a replacement 3 months ago because the microphone stopped working completely rendering it useless for taking calls.

They sound decent, connection is solid, but noise cancelling on this is just horrendous.

Do not get one if you plan to use it to take calls anywhere but a quiet room.

In a noisy environment, I've been told that the ambient noise becomes loud and my voice gets cancelled out and the other person can barely hear me.

In a quiet room, it works fine.

The fit is just perfect and I rarely find a earphone that stays in my ear.

Overall, it's a good buy at this price but I wouldn't pay the usual $249.

  • Hey guys, I have never used these. Any comparison - Elite vs Elite Active?

    • -1

      179 vs 199

    • +1

      active= waterproof/sweatproof i think

  • I've been using Jaybird Run for thousands of km's of rough mtn bike riding as well as during my daily walks. How would these compare to the Jaybird Runs? I'm also contemplating on comparing these to the Sony WF-SP900. Will do further research, not in a hurry I suppose.

N00b question: are these the same product type as the Samsung Galaxy buds? They look like it anyway but no one has asked how these compare to them but seem popular enough.

    • Yes, both are true wireless Earbuds. The difference, Galaxy Buds has touch screen while this has physical buttons.

I've got this for a year now and its holding up well. Initially I had trouble opening the lid of the case and almost broke it. It turns out that to open the lid, you need to press on the holder part of the case instead of the lid part.

    • Sorry my bad. I mean you press on the little bump on the lid part and not on the holder part.

Been using my Jabra Elite Active 65T every day for the past year, it’s one of the only products i’d highly recommend

  • I've been using one everyday for over a year now.

Sound quality is very good, but if you use it on trains/trams it gets a lot of interference if someone else with wireless earphone is close to you.

This is a deal breaker for me as I mainly use it on the tram to/from work.
