Just read about Choice's Big Bank Switch and thought I'd share. Interesting concept and I guess it doesn't hurt to see what offers the banks end up making to the participants. However, the cynic in me thinks this is one quick way of getting a very well defined database for future spammage…

I thought all exit fees were abolished.
not yet mate, still on the senate. if they abolish you still have to pay application fee upfront. no win win solution for home buyer

Over 10000 people signed up now… seems to be proving popular. Article says 3 people with combined total of 2 million in loans got 0.95 discount… wonder how much discount 10000 people with combined 3 billion in loans will get? ;)
another smart move from the mortgage broker, find 1000 new clients in one go. bear in mind for people sign up this, you might still have to pay exit fee when you move to another lender.
