Furthermore, the built-in VoiceMax microphone enables you to conduct crystal clear conversations. High-resoluting and deep-reaching

While the hybrid active NoiseGard attenuates ambient noise, the high-definition aptX® codec carves out every aural nuance in even finer detail. Thus, the trademark MOMENTUM sound becomes still more brilliant. Furthermore, the VoiceMax microphone, as an integral part of the headphones, enables you to conduct crystal-clear conversations without the need of an external microphone.

Experience a whole new quality in wireless sound. With the new MOMENTUM Wireless. Its large diaphragms and innovative technology deliver full MOMENTUM sound in new perfection. Clear, richly detailed and with a powerful bass.

-Advanced and smart
With the MOMENTUM Wireless setting up a wireless connection is even easier than to plug in a conventional Cable. It is implemented via the integrated NFC at the push of a button. In an instant, thanks to Bluetooth® 4.0 standard. Connect and enjoy the sound.

*Near Field Communication

-Timeless and immaculate
Love of detail is a main character trait of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM Wireless: With sliders made of stainless steel, and luxurious leather covering the soft, newly designed ear cushions. Its sound and its finish with accurately placed seams make the MOMENTUM a delight for all senses.

Without a Cable the MOMENTUM becomes even more puristic, reduced to the max maximum listening pleasure.

-Comfortable and variable
The ear cups of the new MOMENTUM Wireless are attached to high-end ball joints running steplessly in collapsible sliders made of brush

These are fantastic - I've had mine for over 3 years and they look brand new, and they're amazing for blocking out chatter in the workplace. Note that if you wear glasses regularly, you're likely to get the arms pressed into the side of your head - not immediately noticeable but may be a little uncomfortable with prolonged use (I normally feel it after a couple of hours).

  • There are some amazing Pink Floyd editions of these available on Sennheiser Outlet for $299 with free delivery (called HD1 in American market)

  • Worth noting that a new model has recently been released. Momentum 3. Better noise cancelling, tile tracking, new codecs, shorter battery life, different styling, https://en-au.sennheiser.com/momentumwireless

  • Can the noise cancelling be turned down/off?

I hate the 'pressure', but it can be handy at minimum on things like flights.

    • No, if the headphones are on, the noise-cancelling is on. (However, you can still use the headphones without turning them on by plugging in the cable - handy if you've forgotten to charge them.)

  • No, noise cancelling on these cannot be turned off. Though they do hot exhibit the swimming pool pressure that can occur with some Nc headphone. At least none that I can remember.

Whilst I prefer the ability to be able to turn them off, it is not really an issue in that sense,

I had bad experience with this headphone to be quite frank.

The build is solid. The sound is alright. Pretty good actually. But the noise cancelling is weird. It let in sound from sound angle. Like the noise cancelling microphone doesn't seems to pick sound from certain angle.

The construction is jot the best. I opened a lot of these. The leather has scratches, the metal band has scratches, but almost all of them (M2 wired or wireless) had the white metal slider nylon joint that is defective. What you get is slider that doesn't slide as well as they should.

The plastic moulding around the micro use also not top grade finishing.

  • This is David Jones. Where the internet is new and cool. One day they will (hopefully) become functional.

  • Ha, I bought my second pair for $199 a month ago.
My previous ones (out of warranty) had a faulty power button that they don't fix, so I was offered a second pair at a discounted price.
24 hours later the first pair started working again. Now I have two :S
