I'm after a set of over ear headphones for a little bit of gaming, no need for a mic. I don't want to faff around with a usb cable trying to charge it every few weeks, I want some sort of cradle that will charge it when I rest the headset back on it. I there anything around in the budget of $100 ish?

This when it’s on-sale.
We have the older version of this and find it very convenient for TV / PC use (sound is great for movies).Keep in mind it uses RF (radio-frequency) technology so depending on how much wireless activity going on in your spot (WiFi / bluetooth etc) you may experience some interference.
