Got a hankering for some Yakiniku at home. Where can I find Japanese style meat cuts in Melbourne close to inner west or CBD area?
The bulk Yakiniku meats in Costco tend to be quite grainy and slicked too thin.

Tho I've personally always found good quality at Costco.
korean meat slices (from the freezer in a korean grocer) should be just as satisfying.
if you want to make the journey out to Mount Waverley, there's a place called "Joy Meat"

KT Mart (one of the bigger Korean supermarkets) in City and Mitcham
FujiMart in South Yarra - I haven't been there for a while though.
There's a couple of excellent Korean / Japanese grocery stores along Elizabeth St, north of Melbourne Central, with good meat sections. You should be right there.
