Was about to neg the deal when I saw $64 a month, then I noticed it was only a 12 month contract. assuming you get vodafone coverage (which I guess can't be assumed), this is a REALLY good deal.
Good deal considering you can sell the iPhone 4 (not sure how much but should be more than $600) and keep the sim card and then wait and buy a iPhone 5 in September.

I have been reading the whole post and didn't get the idea of vadafone.. at the end again scroll to the top and see the vadafone phrase..got it.. I recently moved to vodafone with HTC DHD, dont know its my phone or the network, most of the time i wont get call, and even while in the middle the calls drops down.. its really a vadafail.. i too signup for a 12 month contract $49+$5 for 12 months. looking for the iphone 5 with any other network

Not a bad deal for a 12mth short contract if you can live with the patchy network, Vodafone are just desperate with all the bad publicity and also chance to clear the deck before iPhone 5, imminent release round the corner to combat the Galaxy S2 and Android Army. I think I will check out the iP5 first, as this would undoubtedly get cheaper when the iP5 release, as in the past with 3Gs & iP4.

I can't get it too. they only offer $49cap + 35 month for phone on 12 month or an old customer refer for 10% discount for the $49 plan.
I'm pretty sure most networks are doing this so it's nothing special.
