Techfast - Any Negative Experiences?

Has anyone had negative experiences with ordering pre-built PCs from TechFast? I ordered the R5-3500X 2080 Super (the second one on the page) build back in October and had it arrive earlier this week, but it's come pretty under-specced compared to the order. It's got the AMD 5700 RX GPU instead of the NVIDIA 2080 Super, and I'd upgraded the SSD to 480GB + added a 1TB HDD, but it's only come with a 128GB SSD and no HDD. I've got a receipt + physical invoice that matches what I ordered, but it certainly doesn't match up with what's actually in the case …

I'm assuming it's just a mistake on their end and it'll be sorted, but I'm a bit concerned as I haven't been able to get in touch with them - I was promised (via email) a call-back on Friday that didn't happen, and their phone line hasn't been going through all week (no available agents in the queue) …

Was just wondering if anyone had had any similar experiences in the past? I'm aware they have a good rep on the site, but the lack of communication has got me sweating over the weekend

    Sounds like a mistake. They have a rep on here, Luke I think, shoot him a private message and I'm sure he'll assist. Seems to have done for others on here. Never used them so can't comment, but there's always bound to be human errors and both positive & negative experiences for everything everywhere.

    I've had the same wrong parts in the build - I was sent the default 9100F in the build instead of the 9400F upgrade I paid for. And it wasn't until I was going through Computer Management as I was adding devices that I even realised, otherwise I wouldn't have known at all.

    Thankfully this wasn't my first CPU upgrade, so after emailing Luke & Callum, they shipped out the replacement & a return label for the other CPU. Otherwise if I didn't know what I was doing I'd be sending the entire case back for a simple swap, and I would not be happy.

    Can't complain about the customer service side though; I had no issues when raising the issue or getting it resolved.

    just give it time man. I'd take some photos/screenshots etc to assist. dont break any seals etc.

    Their customer support has been great, so they should be able to sort you out. Just shoot Luke a PM and they'll get you sorted :)

    It'd be a mistake - from my experience these guys have been great. Get in touch with them and I have no doubt they'll sort things out.

    Other than delay nothing really negative, just don’t get the small form factor case like I did (internal hdd are blocked by the gpu so your only option for extra storage is the m.2)

    I bought this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/518491 on 20/02/20 with two upgrades (didn't upgrade psu from 550w unbrand to 750w 80+) Received yesterday, the PSU failed on arrival system doesn't power up, fans spin for half second then stop. Took the GPU out and the system doesn't power up either, only power led in front panel is on. lol. Still trying to get in touch with rep from techfast.

      they test the systems before shipping. so id say it was working before they packed it. i know they stuff the insides of the case with bubble wrap and maybe a wire moved and slightly came loose or unplugged? im sure you have already looked over every inch of it for that. but if that happened there i dont see them just shipping it.

    i just received mines. and can say not happy.

    case came dented on top..not slightly..looks like someone sat on it. the box outside was perfect..no dents or any signs of damage.

    soon has i pull out the pc a screw and plastic piece fell out. the gpu a gtx1070FE is not straight it is slanted from the back it shows so bad its not even funny. the screw is from that.

    also there is a plastic piece that fell out has well..its pretty damn bad..nearly $2000 and this is what they send out
