3D was just a gimmick of the 3DS. It wasn't necessary to enjoy 3DS games
I don't know why everyone loves to hate on 3d so much, but then make a big deal about 4k when it's hard to see a difference across a room. 3d all the way, even on DS
Literally no one will know the answer to that without inside info. There is a possibility that there will be deals but it may not be as good as previous deals.
My thought process was that stores had it on sale last Black Friday, so surely it'll be on sale this year as well? I wanted to ask the experienced folks here if that is usually the case.
An extra complication is that the 2DS XL is nearly phased out now and some stores don't advertise/ stock it anymore.
Of course I'm not asking anyone for any specific details

If a good price was known already, it would likely have already been posted as a deal.
As you already know, it's at the very end of it's life so stock is already scarce.

Last good deal on New 2DS/3DS was late last year I think, they were $80 on Amazon on New 2DS XL and $100 for the New 3DS XL.
My suggestion is to wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday if you want to buy one, good chance there will be one last deal for these units. Nintendo are still producing them earlier this year so stocks should be ok
Or you can try eBay if you can’t find one after BF/CM. My friend got a second hand New 2DS XL 2 months ago for $80 and still basically like brand new. eBay would be hit or miss though you need to really pay attention on the pictures and description details.

I’ve seen quite a few 2nd hand 2DS & 2DS XL amongst others (some still like new due to very minimal use) advertised on Facebook buy sell swap.
I’m currently looking to purchase a couple for my 2 younger kids so I’ve been browsing what’s avail daily & not only are there plenty on offer, still in good quality of condition but most offers also package in games & other peripherals, ie; charger, case, screen protector, stylus pen etc for example. Depending on the seller, have seen some great bundles advertised but prices on those just selling the console on its own tend to range anywhere from $60-$70 up to $100-$150 & usually come with an extra or 2.
Pay careful attention to viewing photos & description details as this is obviously of key importance but there are definitely some good quality 2nd hand consoles available & up for grabs.
Lots of various just games bundles too.
Amazon.au had the $99 New Nintendo 2DS XL console White & Orange with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed but its already sold out. Amazon deals usually don't last long as they always sell out very quickly.
Purchased for same price earlier this year. Fist time ever owning a portable Nintendo console and loving it.
