Recently picked up a Galaxy s10e from the JB deal.
I find the screen still too bright on the lowest phone setting, especially at night. Is there a way to lower the screen brightness even more than the settings allow?

I used to use screen filter.
I could basically use my phone in a cinema without any noticeable light because it was almost a pitch black screenI second the screen filter app. It's simple and does the job.
Yeh, I used to use screen filter too. Works well. The install function of Android stops working if the screen filter is activated tho.
i use kernel aduitor app and it has the setting under screen (screen value and screen contrast will get what you need). Not sure if it works or is available for unrooted phones
I used an app called nightmode. which gave me an even lower slider of brightness.

Is there a way to search for smartphone apps using a search term like "screen brightness"? Maybe there could be something like a Google Play store where such apps exist.

I use blue light filter. You're able to change colours, have a timer so it reduces brightness at night automatically. Pretty good app.
