  • So many electric toothbrushes from this brand only. What is the main difference? And simply which one is the best?

I just got a 2000 a few months ago. Differences I notice on this one are no 30 second timer (2 min cycle broken into 30 second notifications - helps brush front, back , sides evenly), no pressure warning if you press to hard, and no "sensitive" mode for a less intense motor speed

  • It would be great if we would have a comparison table with review summary.

  • Is the one with the good or bad battery?

    • Bad only lasts 8 days which means it's not a lithium battery.

      • edit - i think you are right -NiCd battery
pretty sure its the Li battery - the non lithiums need charging every day dont they?

  • Seen this on Amazon for 35 most of the time, cashback and delivery probably a better purchase.

I believe its best to just buy Oral-B vitality which usually on sale for ~$20, then replace the whole unit every 1 or 2 years.
    - The ones with lithium ion is better but it will cost you at least 4x more. Lithium is still a battery which will degrade over the time so its not gonna last forever(its not gonna last 4x longer than NiCd)
    - Some oral b have 3D movement, but I couldn't feel the difference compare to the 2d ones.(I've used 700 pro)
    - You don't really need timer or pressure sensor after using electric toothbrush for a while. You will know it just by feeling.
    - Then there's the premium ones where it has bluetooth and can connect to apps which cost $150++. I have never owned these kind of toothbrush, but I wonder who actually needs it

or solder a eneloop in place of the nicad on vitality when it dies. 30 min job without experience but knowing how to solder, works a treat, 6months+ and going strong (stronger than the original btw)
