We will be offering nurse consults for a $5 cost, which will be all donated to our friends at Pets in the Park. Pets In the Park is a local charity that provides a free pet clinic for animals owned by homeless within the community.
During a nurse consult we will offer your pet:
-A nail clip
-Anal gland expression
-Weight check
-Dental Check

  I am too scared to google it - what's with go with the anal gland expression? I've had dogs, cats, various birds, fish, frogs, sheep, chickens and ducks over the years and have never come across this as a pet requirement.

  Hi there, it is quite common for dogs to get blocked anal glands, which is why we are offering the expression. It also can happen for cats. A sign of this is when a dog is either licking that area quite a bit or are scooting on the carpet. During the wellness check with the nurse we will check your pet to see if they require this.
