ALDI - Solar Twin Head Security Light Is Not Lighting at Night

Has anyone got this solar light from ALDI.

Initially did not test at dark, only did in daytime and installed on drive way. It has two controls. If I keep the setting (LUX) at day time, then it is working day & night as mentioned in manual. But for night time only setting, it does not light at all.
Anyone has used and any suggestions please ?

    Is it a dimmer like control? Hubby got these from Aldi, it's working right now but he said don't turn it all the way to night unless it's completely dark where you are

    Did you charge the batteries?

      Yes they were out side for about 3 sunny days so assume they charged completely

      so batteries likely to be fine
