Hi all, I am planning on getting the Oculus Quest.
I was wondering if there will be any upcoming sales on the games (eg Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, New Years…etc).
Maybe some games can be unlocked if already owned on Steam?
Are there third party sites that sell these games cheaper?
Are there any tricks to get the games cheaper (eg giftcards, cashback, region pricing - VPN to another country…?)
Or is everyone paying full price at the moment?
I have an Oculus Go and the app is really good showing daily deals and has sales quite often! I believe you can get the app before purchasing your Quest and see all the games and discounts on the store.
I don't think you'll see games on the Oculus site that much cheaper than they are. I suggest only purchasing a handful of games that you want to be portable (like Beat Saber) and then the rest on Steam using Link. At least you can get Steam games at a discount during sales and also purchase CD keys.

Thanks. Reedemed on Oculus and then went into the Quest games and it came up as "Free" for me.
As per the link, here's a list of the Cross Buy games Oculus supports. Some games are cheaper on Humble. Pistol whip is $33 compared to the $37 Oculus want.
Most of them are cheaper, but not by too much.

i tried a vpn to try and get the indian or thai price some people reported, but that was still showing up converting to ~20AUD for me, not lower like some suggested so I ended up buying on the australian store.
People on Reddit think it'll not have specials.
