I'm in Sydney and just checked out the McDonald's app & see this chicken burger called "The karaage Burger" has anyone ever heard of it or tasted it?
Is this localised to Sydney?
I checked the Macca's website and it's not on there.
McDonald's The Karaage Burger, heard of it?

Lol. That's exactly what must have happened.
OP - there are no Karaage burgers in Sydney Maccas.
Some people are very ignorant.
Could be the McD Iceland burger kara and age together in Icelandic means "carried lots of age" or maybe not.
https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-50262547Karaage means fried chicken in Japanese, a more likely burger name imo lol.
Did you just come back from Japan? 'Karaage' is Japanese and usually refers to fried chicken

Yep, seems you're right when selecting the Five Dock branch specifically: https://imgur.com/a/xiPAA2g
Doesn't seem to be available anywhere else so might be a special or test menu run. Did you give it a go? Might do if pass by.
There's too much salad on it.
Otherwise I would. You do realise the burger will look nothing like that when ordered, the promo shot uses all sorts of tricks to make it look as full an appetising as possible.
Wow something I'd actually try at maccas
That looks horrible
I just automatically expect a lot of low info and ignorant comments from these type of people.
