Can the q89r 55 inch please just get to below $2K already…
lol.. I saw the LG 75UM7600PTA is $2k.. but didn't look at it as I don't like LG. Had a very bad experience with them so..
Oops meant Q80R but yeah I had a bad experience with LG and now parents would never buy or want anything from them again.
My kid smacked her toy into my Hisense 65M7000UWG last night :( So in the market for a new TV (hopefully through insurance..) So I was at the shops today and looking at this samsung. Normal price is 2400 and special is 1895 + $125 voucher back.. They also have the Hisense R8 65" normally at 2000 going for 1500… I love Samsung but for some reason I'm leaning towards the Hisense.. But considering its the same price here as the Samsung.. Which is better
R8 if it's the top of the budget or q75/9500g are way better sets if you can sling a bit more cash.
65r8 was $1150 or something from the latest deal I saw.
Where did you see that price? I think you talking about the R7 perhaps?
Sorry $1196 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/496365
Is it worth extra for this QLED over RU8000?
Nah, they're pretty much the same tv. They stripped the Q60 line this year. The 2018 Q6 was a great TV, and worth the extra, but this year not so much. The Q60 is slightly brighter but imo, not enough to justify the extra $2-300
The reason why the Q6 is cheaper is because they stripped this year's model of all the features. It's almost identical to the base model Samsung TV. Q7 and up are the ones that actually have the benefits of a HDR TV.
