You can get lossless music streaming.
It's not even that much more expensive.
Given 99% of listeners use streaming services like spotify, good play music etc.
"Hi end" speakers are now a waste of money imo.Makes zero sense to me given you cannot tell the difference if a source has been encoded with a lossy algorithm one time only but OK, have worse sound.
These sound miles better than the R1280T even with Spotify quality music. Speakers definitely have diminishing returns as you go up in price but I hope you’re not seriously saying that anything above $120 R1280T is a waste of money.

damn, i bought them at 647 from edifier.
Feedback on sound, I already had the R1280DB which sound great, but I saw good reviews on these and they have a 30 day return policy. Which now that I think about it I might use to buy from this instead. Anyway, it might be confirmation bias but I reckon there's a wider range of sound even playing off bluetooth google music. Even if I don't return them and b uy these to save 50 bucks I'll still be happy.

I have the R128Ot and they do an incredible job.
