I received an in app note that rewards will expire 1 yr from acquisition. They've always said this but I have never lost any money.
In app notification pointed me here… https://support.google.com/opinionrewards/answer/6322284?vis… which also says they are making it easier to see when your rewards are expiring.
If you have a huge balance, time to start using!

I too am wondering how to use Google Opinon rewards credit to pay for YT Music based/billed in India.
I use it to pay for 100G in Google Photos so I can store original quality as well as Google Play Music family (which includes Youtube Premium).

I lost approx $100 recently. Annoyingly, the day before I got a top up play store card to bring my balance up to what was needed for a 2TB google one annual subscription.
I've spent ages trying to get it back with google help/chat - there is no getting it back. Once it expires, they wont re-instate.

How do people get so much credit? I hardly get any surveys.
I get a real lack of surveys these days :/ I used to get about 8-15 a week! Now 1-2 a week.
I get one every fortnight…
You need to go into/past the stores which are actively paying for surveys eg Woolworths, Auspost, BigW.
They were for a while paying $1 for hotel reviews which was easy money if you did a 20 min walk around the block in the hotel districts of a major city.

Turn on location history in your google account settings, set locating method in your phone's settings to high accuracy.

I lost about $100 about a week ago. The app notification which directs you to the help centre mentions checking back next week if you were adversely affected by the sudden expiration.
I lost nearly $50 without any warning overnight a couple weeks ago.
Sent a complaint - the app says that they are trying to do something about it - but don't say what, just 'check back next week'.
Anyone have any ideas if I'm ever going to see that credit again?
based on my two solid attempts to get my credit back, no. just sitting and waiting for 'next week', which is actually 'this week'.

I think I lost some balance, but I cant remember how much I had before.
I just signed up for a year of Disney+ using mainly credit from Google rewards. Had to top up my account $20 to have the money required for a years subscription.
Never bought apps or books so had no idea what I was going to use it on before expiring so this worked out well for me.
Yeah got the same. Time to start spending!
