Balter XPA is a great beer. Just be aware this is for a case of 16 and not 24. Same price at Dans if you don’t want to wait.

Dan’s is showing full price for me.

      • I see, must be on sale in WA.

          Great name BTW

    • Showing $62.99 per case at Dan Murphy’s

"Case" of 16. Title should say $49.50 for 67% of one case.

    • And $15.33 off rrp each case at that.
The 8 beers short × 3 is the deal breaker.

I love Balter XPA, but Boozbud deal yesterday was better deal. Mixed slab ~$50 delivered.

I warming to hot beer specials online after Goose session IPA $36 on eBay:-)

      • I like beers cold

  • How fresh are these?

I drank some old Balters today and they were horrific.

You'd think they'd know to put this in the deal by now eh? Can understand places like BWS, FC etc not knowing the relevance but a craft beer retailer ought to know better.

      • We mentioned beers are fresh in the deal.

Best Before or Packaged dates are always published on our deals.

        Balter XPA: Best Before 01/04/20
Hawkers Pale Ale: Best Before 10/06/20

        Cheers!

        • Sorry, didn't realise they were listed on the site itself.

Good stuff. Just bought 3 cases.

        • It's still not mentioned IN THE DEAL and as far as I can see you have to click on the actual beer to get the date - which is useful and rare, granted. The question of date is raised on many OzB beer deals so my point is PUT IT IN THE DEAL so we can decide if "fresh" applies without clicking through. Thanks for the info though.

@[Deactivated]: Wouldn't fresh apply to time since the canned date, not the best before which tends to vary by company
(Also style of beer can heavily influence the impact of time)

            • @1stOzBargainer: Agree, bb date is a rough guide only but if you're buying expensive craft beer online you want some assurance that it's not old stock.

Possumbly, you'd think one might check their website before criticizing. They always disclose best before dates on sale stock.

        • See my comment above shbshb, although as I've had a dig at others for not clicking through to read the details on other deals I have to wear your criticism.

    • All beers are fresh.

Some terrible 'deals' in this. Hope XPA on sale for $99 a slab lolz. It's $80 full price at Boozebud.
