I've never seen this oil ever go on special. Hard to find info about it online but I've seen tins of this brand when I was a kid.
It is what my grandma and mum uses so they stocked up and told me it was a deal.
The packaged date of the oil is September 2019.
You can buy legit Aussie oil for $9/4L on special about once a month from the big supermarkets. Spanish oil has a dodgy record in Australia. God knows what is inside those cans.
My Italian in-laws used this for schnitzel when I was first introduced to the family 20odd years ago 'cause it was cheap.
Today our house uses Australian virgin olive oil for most salads and cooking. For a lot of frying, Rice Bran Oil.
Avocado sometime's but it's exxy.
Bottom line, avoid European blends (which is what our kids are) - it's the cheap oil.
In China, they use these bottle to fill Gutter oil 地沟油

I originally read this as KFC Springvale and thought they had ordered too much oil and were selling it on!
