Hi,

Can I bring any electronics back after claiming TRS ?

But what if I lost or if they stop working them after my return and want to make a claim through CommBank insurance? Will they be asking any questions regarding TRS?

  As long as you're under the limit for what you bring back ($900 per adult, $450 per child) you don't have to pay the GST back.

  Your insurance will have no way of knowing that you claimed the GST back, so I wouldn't expect anything there. Not sure about Commbank, but most will either pay you the money for an equivalent replacement from a quote or preferred partner, or just supply the replacement.
